BoomCase: It’s an ooooold case. A Samsonite customized with a few extra features. I originally ordered it when I was busking in train stations on my iPad and iPhone, so it was one of the first to include a USB charger. Now I perform mostly on my Gameboy.
How did you find the BoomCase? I can not remember, it was 6 years ago.
What interested you in the BoomCase? The look. The uniqueness…The idea of owning an amp that I could easily carry around with me that didn’t look like anyone else’s amplifier.
What do you do with your BoomCase? I make chiptunes, music made on old hand held gaming units, and sing on top of them. So I bring my old grey Gameboy and my beautiful BoomCase to BART stations and sing my music.
Where have you taken your BoomCase? All over the city mostly.
When do you use your BoomCase? When there’s high traffic on the daily commutes.
Has the BoomCase helped you in anyway? It’s the perfect volume for what I need, and it’s got the added benefit of drawing a little extra attention. As if the Gameboy itself didn’t do that enough.
Any stories you would like to share involving your BoomCase? Ummm… I love it.
